Household/Property Fraud Case Manager - Tewkesbury Office

G4S Investigation Solutions (UK) Ltd, trading as The Cotswold Group, is the UK’s leading supplier of investigation solutions to the UK insurance industry and we are seeking experienced desk based Fraud Investigators to join our Household/Property Fraud Team based in our Head Office in Tewkesbury.
Desk Investigators are required to plan and conduct detailed end to end counter fraud investigations into a range of household claims. You will be in regular telephone and email contact with our insurer clients, policyholders and field based Investigators so excellent communication skills and telephone manner are a must.
You will communicate difficult decisions to our client’s policyholder’s so diplomacy, tact and excellent people skills are essential.
The role will also involve regular use of both telephone and video interview platforms, through which you will be conducting live video interviews with insurer clients policyholders.
You will proactively manage the investigation process, carrying out enquiries/interviews as appropriate to provide a seamless investigation process to the client and their policyholders.
You will be required to instruct our field based Special Investigators and direct a Household Fraud Investigation on an end to end basis including policy voidance, claim declinature or claims settlement.
You will be required to effectively manage all in scope instruction types on a daily basis meeting Client Service Level Agreements as part of the investigation. You will manage your tasks through our bespoke management system ensuring a prompt and effective service is provided.

The successful candidate will:

Have proven experience of handling household insurance claims
Have previous experience of Household Fraud Investigations or can evidence case management of field based household investigations.
Previous experience handling Household/Commercial Property claims is essential.
Be proactive in dealing with their caseload & remain flexible to meet the demands of the role.
Display positive behavioural indicators to clients and colleagues.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have a working knowledge of The Consumer Insurance Act (2015), IFR, IFED and the principles of insurance.
Excellent telephone manner is a must.


Full training will be provided - household experience is essential
This a full time (37.5hrs/week) office (Tewkesbury).  Home working will be considered for the right candidate.

Salary £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year, depending on experience.
