Business Development DirectorOn Application

This fulltime position will have the overall responsibility of all strategic and operational sales and client relationship management (CRM) activities. You will lead, manage and develop the sales and CRM teams to assist their achievement of volume and profit related objectives across the business and in line with annualised budgets. You will continue to develop excellent customer relations with full understanding of client requirements and expectations, enhancing the customer experience and maximising cross selling at every opportunity. You will have responsibility for the preparation of the business development plan and oversee all elements of marketing.

Good commercial awareness is essential. You will report directly to the Managing Director and the Board. Excellent management skills and strong communication with clients and team members alike are essential for fulfilling this role.

Responsible for the accurate data entry of all new client instructions and updates to details appertaining to jobs, onto our bespoke management system. Following initial induction training and satisfactory completion of probationary period, this role is considered to be a preparatory experience for further development in the investigation arena. Opportunities include intelligence analysis and trace work. Good keyboard skills are essential.
